How to Create a Playlist on SoundCloud (Desktop)

1. Go to soundcloud.com and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to any track you want to include — yours or someone else's.
3. Click the “··· (More) button” below the track waveform.
4. Select “Add to playlist” from the dropdown menu.
5. In the panel that appears, click “Create new playlist”.
6. Enter a playlist title in the text field.
7. Choose a privacy setting — Public or Private.
8. Click “Save”.

The playlist is created immediately and the track is added to it. Repeat steps 2–4 for every additional track you want to include.

3. Under “Privacy”, toggle between Public and Private.

On mobile:

1. Go to your profile and tap “Playlists”.
2. Tap the playlist, then tap the “···” icon.
3. Tap “Edit”, change the privacy setting, and tap “Save”.

A private playlist is visible only to you. It does not appear on your public profile and cannot be shared via a public link. A public playlist is indexed and visible to anyone on SoundCloud.
